Why the listing says Windows 7 but Steam means Windows 10+
The game row still lists “Windows 7 or later.” On the same Steam requirements section, Valve notes that the Steam Client supports only Windows 10 and later from January 1, 2024.

The September 10 announcement says Steam Deck is officially Verified: controls are mapped, text is readable, and default performance holds up without required settings work. The Steam store also marks Full Controller Support.
The product platforms remain Windows-only. Deck verification is evidence for Valve’s handheld compatibility path, not a native macOS build, a native desktop Linux listing, an FPS guarantee, or a battery-life promise.
